Vehicle Description
It's running and driving and we are done with the project of our pro touring resto mod build on this 1964 Ford F100.... The description of our build is as follows, a body off frame construction process and here is what we have completed: 1964 F100 solid pickup, the Spokane Stroker Performance 347 engine dyno tested at 448 horse with a carb but we have installed Holley Sniper fuel injection, Monster Transmissions supplied the 4 speed automatic trans with a 2800 stall converter, Danny's Original Custom supplied the 2" drop front end steering and suspension and the 4 link rear suspension with sway bars and Wilwood brakes and master cylinder with booster, a "C" notch kit to lower the stance for the rear end, we bought a late model Ford 8.8 inch traction-lock 3.73 rear end, all the frame was stripped of original components then cleaned, reinforced by boxing in the front end, engine compartment area and the new C-notch rear end area, all the under the hood parts, firewall fill in panels, water pump, new aluminum 4 core Champion radiator, new shroud with electric cooling fans, billet pulley's, power steering pump and Vintage Air Conditioning, New 17 gallon aluminum fuel tank with in tank fuel pump, new instrument cluster, new ignition switch and keys, a Kwik Wire harness to make it all work together, running all new stainless steel brake lines with new hoses at the wheels, new tires and wheels, new door seals and moldings, around the windows too, new tilt wheel, all new dyna-mat installed in the cab and on the cab roof, new headliner, terrific looking and seating on a split back bench custom seat, new bluetooth hidden stereo w/amp, tonneau cover, brand new windshield and probably more! So now it is all together with our guy who has done about 9 of these but this is his most extensive build as we wanted to go all in, no holds barred and no corners cut. The floor of the bed of the truck is really quite nice but we needed to cut it out to lower the truck and made a metal cover that enclosed the bed floor. We really like the patina finish on this pickup and the lack of rust makes us want the appearance to stay as is.... and we had a blast getting it done and we have an amazing driving, strong running and just a terrific looking truck now that it is completed.
Drives strong! Runs and drives great! Clean title. Hard-to-find model!
